Karlos Morgan founded KM2 Strategic Consulting Group LLC, a management advisory firm serving nonprofits, businesses, and communities across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. He also leads KM2 Charitable Foundation, directing the firm's community service and outreach initiatives.

Karlos served 11 years in the U.S. military, rising to senior noncommissioned officer before his separation. The role demanded leadership under pressure, command of complex logistics, and accountability with no margin for error, standards that have shaped his approach to every position since.

That foundation carried into more than three decades of leadership across military and federal service. Karlos is a member of the Senior Executive Service, serving as Director of Acquisition Workforce and Systems Support within the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he supports acquisition professionals across all DHS components and offices. Earlier in his career, he led the development of acquisition policy used across the federal government. He holds a Project Management Professional certification and a Level III Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting, along with a Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisitions Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University. He also serves on the Federal Acquisition Institute Board of Directors, helping advance the acquisition profession nationally.

Karlos founded KM2 Strategic Consulting Group to extend that same rigor into the private and nonprofit sectors: plan with discipline, execute with precision, hold every commitment to account.

Through KM2 Charitable Foundation, he directs a portfolio of community programs across the District. The Bird Gang Turkey Drive delivers Thanksgiving meals to families in seven DC public housing communities, and a companion mentorship program connects young men across the DMV with professional role models and civic leadership training. Karlos also serves as an American Cancer Society ambassador, advancing health education and early cancer detection awareness in the communities the foundation serves.

Outside of his professional and civic work, Karlos has been married for 20 years and is the father of two and grandfather of two. He is an avid reader and a consistent, if not always accurate, golfer.
